is it possible to convert a vector to a LONG?

for example I have a point of a polygon which is a CPolygon named arrPolygons[lngNew].d and I want it to match the vector of an existing point which is arrPlanePoints[lngNew]

      How would I accomplish this?

Remember, the a,b,c,d of a CPolygon are LONG indices into the vector array so that whichever vector you want any of the four polygon points to be set to is just a matter of using the vector array index.
