Ok, I have a value that is the Field of View (the angle of the camera cone). Now, how can I derive the Focal Lenght and the Aperture Width out of it?
I know that, probably, I will only be able to calculate the Focal Length as a function of the Aperture Width and the Field of View or be able to calculate the Aperture Width as a function of Focal Length and Field of View. But, what are those equations?
Thank you in advance.Rui Batista

Couldn't you just reverse the calculations you posted in March:
aperture/focus = 2*tan(fov/2) =>
aperture = 2*focus*tan(fov/2) and
focus = aperture/(2*tan(fov/2)) -
