Howdy,I've downloaded the R14 demo and I'm trying to compile the cinema4dsdk project, but I'm getting 189 compile errors:
error: unrecognized command line option "-Wno-logical-op-parentheses"How do I fix that?
I'm using Mac OSX 10.6.8 and Xcode 3.2.

Cactus DanIf you have at least a free Apple developer membership, go to https://developer.apple.com/ . Looking for "All downloads" and you'll find XCode 4.2 for Snow Leopard (I think it was published around September/Nov. 2011).
For OS X 10.7 or newer we recommend XCode 4.4 though.
... and yes, r14 is 64 bit only (see system requirements) on the Mac.

- Xcode 4.2.1 for Lion
- Xcode 4.2 for Lion

Can't check that from my account. In that case you either have the possiblity to upgrade to Mountain Lion for $20 and get XCode 4.4 for free from the Appstore, or you have to spend $99 for the paid membership @Apple (and get access to all - old and new - compilers and OS versions).

But note that the page says '21-40 of 71- but yours says '21-40 of 55'. For some reason you aren't seeing some entries.
When I logged in I went to the iOS dev center, then on that page just below the link to XCode 4.4.1 there's another link to older versions of XCode. That's how I found the 4.2 release.

I think Apple machines are gorgeous (just splashed out on a new iMac) but their web site(s) are appalling. I wanted to download XCode 4.4 but you can't get that direct from the Apple dev site, it takes you to the Mac App Store. OK, fair enough, but when you try to download XCode it redirects you again to of all things iTunes. There, it turns out that your $99 Apple dev ID is not good enough. You need an Apple ID. Well, I had one so I tried it and iTunes flatly refused to accept it, despite letting me download anything else with tat ID - but not XCode. In the end I had to create a brand-new Apple ID just to get it. The whole thing is just a mess.
