HiI have this simple ExpressionTag. It has an On/Off switch - currently in a dialog created by ResEdit. Total overkill and impractical. For days now I have been looking for info on how to move this On/Off checkbox into the Attributes box of the Tag. The closest I come for some decent info is here:
https://developers.maxon.net/forum/topic/5550/5571_adding-buttons-to-tags&KW=attributes&PID=23007#23007But that is C++ and I am not quite that far yet, although it looks like that's the way to go.
Then I also have ![](file:///Users/peterold/Library/Caches/TemporaryItems/moz-screenshot.png)'cinema4dsdk' in my Plugin folder. That one offers a whole bunch of useful plugins and it has the source code in C++. It includes an example for an ExpressionTag (LookAtCamera) but that code is so far out of my league and most of the header files seem to be missing - even though I must have compiled that in XCode.
Any leads at all on how to move my poor little On/Off switch?
Thanks
Peter

Iin contrast to Python and C++, Coffee does not suppprt descriptionfiles. Your paramteres have to stay in a dialog.

Thanks Niklas
I almost suspected that. No way around C++ then.
