We're looking to hire a coffee programmer to write a utility inside C4D that does batch find add replace for texture file paths/strings, just as flash or most text editors do.

The function of the mode.info_manager.textures window only allows for one texture at a time and it's not efficient to redirect large numbers of files to different networks paths. The primary uses are relinking large numbers of texture files that have been moved to an archive server, renaming the file .ext from one format to another(i.e. tif to jpg), and loading scenes onto our macs(SAMBA) that have been created on the PCs using UNC paths. We only use network paths because many objects are often copied and pasted between scenes so the tex folder and the texture paths preference do not work for us.

We would like to have the utility in a dockable UI with string entry and replacement text windows, as well as a case sensitive option.

Please contact me directly at jim at hive-fx dot com if interested. We will pay to have this utility built.
