I've seen the threads here concerning getting the PSR values of an object during an animation using BaseDocument.AnimateObject(). But how does one do something similar when the PSR changes are driven by an XPresso control system - hmmm, hmmm? I see NO changes in PSR values on the object if I used the former technique, therefore something must be different. And again, time is of the essence. I'm in the middle of, count 'em, five plugin projects (one isn't even C4D)!
Thanks,

So far what I have that works depends on the DESC_NAME of the DynamicDescription being the same as the Object->GetName(). This works, but I may need to see if the client is willing to use the DynamicDescription's name over the object's since they are not keeping these identical.
Would be nice to be able to get to an XPresso node's Reference object without a PhD in obscurity!
BTW, this plugin is supposed to be 'simple' and ready in days, not weeks, months, or eons!

AnimateObject() will only evaluate animation track. I believe the only way to evaluate expressions is to use AnimateDocument(). (Note that depending on where you call it, you might need to clone the document.)

AnimateObject() does evaluate the animated UserData port sliders though if using the object with the XPresso tag.
Thanks,
