Ok, I can compile the r9 sdk with MSVC6 and all goes well.
When I load c4d, only some of the menu plugins show up and the material plugins, no VP or tag plugins.I tried the same compiled sdk plugin on another machine and everything is there.
Anyone have any idea what this is about?
Thanks,

That's because only Command plugins show up in the Plugins menu.
Tag plugins show in the ObjectManager menus, material plugins probably are added to the shader list for each material, etc., etc...

My apologies... maybe I was unclear.
There are only 5 sdk plugins listed in the plugins menu (which there should be a few more), no sdk plugins are listed in the tag menu (which lookatcamera should be the only one I think), and no sdk plugins are listed in the post effects menu in the render settings (which there should be a couple).
It's not a question of looking in the wrong place, like I said, on my other computer everything is there (and where it should be).
Would a list of what is missing help?

Ok... turned out to be the spherify example.
RegisterSpherify is returning false, and therefore everything listed under it is not being registered. Now to figure out why spherify is not registering....
