Hi
Is there any function in C.O.F.F.E.E to get the active view of the viewport, ie. View 1/2/3/4. I need this to find out, in which view the user is currently working. -

Is it possible in C++? In this case, I think its the peak time for me to move towards C++.
I would like to know one more thing also:
I have created one dialog box. After opening the dialog box, when the user clicks any object from the viewport, that particular (active) object name should be appeared in the dialog box. This is something like event trapping. Is it possible in COFFEE? If not, what about C++? -

Hi,
yes that´s possible in C++ with the BaseDraw class.
For the dialog thing. That should also be possible in COFFEE. Just overload the CoreMessage function of your dialog class and check for NEW_ACTIVE_OBJECT (hope that still works in R8. If not check for DOCUMENT_CHANGED and then do some tests to find out if the object changed.

Hi,
1. I would like to open up a dialog box when the user clicks any object in the document (using C.O.F.F.E.E.) Any guidelines how to do?
2. I want to monitor all the events going on in the C4D Document. That means, what the user does with the document, like mouse click, double-click, move object etc., Is there any way in C.O.F.F.E.E to monitor all the events?
