Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows of a Plugin that can export animation keyframes to an external file? This facilitates copying animation from one scene to another, or storing a library of animations for a rig. Maya has a built in feature for doing this ( http://tinyurl.com/oh35vlx ) and I was wondering if Cinema has something similar? I can seem to find anything. I don't want to build my own if there is already something out there like it.
Thanks in advanced!

The main problem here is that the animation keyframes couldn't simply be stored as a C4D file since animation is directly linked to the objects being animated.
It would need to be some other format (similar to bvh motion capture file format) that is exported and imported using a particular framework (plugin). I see that Maya is using a plugin dynamic library to support animation import/export to/from a .atom file format. I have done something similar using a plugin written for a contractual job where they needed to import/export animation between C4D and a stage control system. Maybe I can dust that off, expand the parameter storage and update the plugin support to achieve something along the lines of Maya's approach.
Will reply back when things are looking good to go.
