For my personal projects, I've been using Makefiles for a very long time now (around 2 years) on Windows
and Mac to compile my C++ plugins. This was working great but **make **often gave me headache.
You can find my makefiles here: https://github.com/NiklasRosenstein/c4dmakeStarting today, I will use my own build system called "Creator" which is a Python based tool and it outputs
ninja build files. If you don't know about ninja, I suggest you check it out. It's a very fast build tool, but
it requires a meta build software to write the build definitions file, and that is what **Creator **is.Creator is open source and licensed under the MIT license. You can find it here on GitHub.
c4dunit, the scripts to build Cinema 4D plugins, are also on GitHub.I just wanted to share this with others, maybe it will be useful for some. I have seen some posts in the
past about alternative ways to compile Cinema 4D plugins using Makefiles and CMake and I want to throw
my method in the pool as well.Cheers!

Glad you're finding this interesting. Let me know if you have any questions or problems and please
keep in mind that Creator is very young software and will have a lot of bugs.
