      hi,

i need a way to allow to abort  RenderDocument(). if a job has mistakenly been started the only way i know to abort it is by manually stopping c4d.

is it possible to show a popup window with a progress bar or something and a cancel button which aborts the jobs by sending a signal or anything?

or is it possible to use the new Render-Manager for this task, i.e. add a job to the queue and manipulate the job in the queue?

Hi, aborting a RenderDocument call is currently not possible. But you have full access to the Render Queue which might do exactly what you want. You can add, delete or stop any render process here.

Check out the Py doc: c4d.documents.BatchRender

        Cheers, Sebastian

what i currently do is switching several render settings and cameras for the current scene with a plugin to create 8 different renderings.
this takes a long time and blocks c4d, and the rendering can't be aborted.

but i cant't think of another way to control the chosen rendersetting and camera in the render manager other than to choose the wanted rendersetting+ camera, save it, and reload the file with the wanted setting and add it to the queue.
what i'm looking for  is a more elegant way to control the wanted render setting and camera.
