Hi.Is there any way to have a dynamic MAXSLIDER value via python?
In my res file for real slider in a pytag I have:
REAL MIXAB {UNIT REAL; MIN 1.0; MAX 100.0; CUSTOMGUI REALSLIDER; STEP 0.01; MINSLIDER 1.0; MAXSLIDER 4.0;}
I guess the res file is read into Cinema at start up as when doing
an edit of the file and re save it, the changes are not taken in account.The idea is to be able to change the MAXSLIDER value from a variable
while the app is running.I've tried to go via the tags basecontainer but no luck atm.
Cheers

Hi tcastudios,
unfortunately this is currently not possible in Python. You need the Description class but it's currently not available in Py.

Ah, thanks for letting me know.
Is the description class a part of C++ ?(No plans to go C++, just checking)

Yes, you can handle this via the C++ API.
