      Hi,
As I am writing a small image browser application, I would like to know if there is any way to read the thumbnail embedded inside a C4D file ?

      Regards,
      Francis

        Hi Francis,

I guess you are talking about a standalone application, right?
We have a library called Melange[URL-REMOVED], which can (amongst other things) be used to read Cinema 4D scenefiles. There you can use GetDocPreviewBitmap() to access the preview (by the way the same function as in the other SDKs, so it can be done the same way inside Cinema 4D).

[URL-REMOVED] @maxon: This section contained a non-resolving link which has been removed.
