hi,
i am still trying to learn python. i was using notepad++ as my editor, because i was used to it
from work and because it is some kind of standard. but i was wondering if there might be better
solutions for python. so i asked google and wikipedia and they came up with tons of results.
i took a look on eclipse and the python thing for eclipse but it feels like VS, far too much for what
i need. my feature wishlist would be :- syntax highlighting
- autocomplete (just for my project no libs - like its done by sublime2)
- treeview
- regular expressions
- some code formating helpers
- an integrated web browser (only found one editor with a browser yet)
i found SynWrite which is pretty cool and Sublime Text2 which does this (KA)XAML 10% black thing,
for which i usually fall for (and also has some nice features :D). currently i am using synwrite, but i
was wondering if there might better solutions. which editor(s) do you use / would you recommand ?
