      Hi

I have created a Tag Plugin, but a user as recently told me that the plugin doesn't show.

At first I thought there was a conflict, so he tried removing all his plugins and using my one alone.

      It still didn't show.

I then made some changes to the plugin to display more information in the console.

The RegisterTagPlugin function returns TRUE and my PluginStart function returns TRUE too.

      But it still doesn't show.

What's more confusing is that another plugin I have created (that's a tag plugin) shows and works perfectly.

I'm not doing anything special on either on them, they are just a bog standard TagPlugin. Except one don't show in the plugin list

Are there any other reasons why a plugin won't show?

        Howdy,

I don't know if this is the case, but I've had this happen to me a couple of times: If there is a missing resource, like an icon.tiff file or something, the plugin won't load. It doesn't tell me that its missing the file, it just won't load.

        Adios,
        Cactus Dan
