      ---------Within the file of the sdk example simplematerial is also defined the ScenePreview class. But I cannot find where this one should be called...what is it for, and when it will be called?

        I don't think it's used anymore. It was used in older SDKs for calculating the preview, but nowadays C4D handles that in the AM. It's probably just left there as an example of a user area.
