Does anyone have a sample of how to retrieve the serial number to use to verify against a license code?The doc page is blank and the header file I found seems to require that I already have the serial number to call it. Looks confusing.
Anyone have a sample to retrieve the serial number (or part of it)?
Thanks,
David -

1. Of course the example needs you to have the serialnumber already. You then need to generate a serialnumber for your plugin and send it back to the customer. The customer will then type this into a dialog of your plugin...
2. GeGetSerialInfo().nr will return a string with the first 11 digits of the currently running cinema 4d version -

How do I use GeGetSerialInfo().nr?
I tried this....String sn = GeGetSerialInfo().nr;
...but I get an error.
Adios,

SerialInfo si; GeGetSerialInfo(SERIAL_CINEMA4D,&si); String sn = si.nr;
This should do it.
