      Hi folks,

      long time no post!

Due to circumstances I won't go into here, I'm having to start to learn to plugin program again. I've got myself Studio R14 (now at 14.025), and have installed VS Express 2012.

The C4DSDK example opens fine, but when it comes to building it I get an error: The OutputPath property is not set for project '_api.vcxproj'.

Would someone be so kind as to provide me with some info on what I need to do here? Or perhaps point me towards a tutorial? I'm not too concerned at 32/64 bit versions at this stage - I just want to get the thing compiling and showing up in Cinema.

      Kind regards,

      WP.

        Hi,

You're getting such error because projects files are written for VS 2010 and with the conversion to VS 2012 some properties aren't setup. I think you should use VS 2010 or see if you can fix this error.

          Thanks Yannick,

am working through the express 2010 install now. Just out of interest, will this be the favoured version to use for the forseeable future?
