<p dir="auto">Dear all,</p>
<p dir="auto">Could anyone give me a basic Howto about implementing a viewport post effect (glsl shader) via C++ plugin?</p>
<p dir="auto">Any link to a sufficient documentation of C4Ds rendering pipeline would help as well <img src="http://developers.maxon.net/forum/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=0b8ddba251d" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":-)" alt="🙂" /></p>
<p dir="auto">I know this is a very generic request, but any help would be highly appreciated! <img src="http://developers.maxon.net/forum/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f604.png?v=0b8ddba251d" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--smile" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":-D" alt="😄" /></p>
<p dir="auto">Thanks a lot in advance!<br />
Paul</p>

<p dir="auto">Hi Andreas,</p>
<p dir="auto">Acknowledged, my fault not checking the SDK examples thoroughly!<br />
So I'm patiently looking forward to an exhaustive documentation <img src="http://developers.maxon.net/forum/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=0b8ddba251d" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":)" alt="🙂" /><br />
Will be back with more questions on the topic shortly <img src="http://developers.maxon.net/forum/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f609.png?v=0b8ddba251d" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--wink" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=";-)" alt="😉" /></p>
<p dir="auto">Best regards,<br />
Paul</p>

<p dir="auto">Hi Paul,</p>
<p dir="auto">please note, the Git repository is just a mirror of the examples contained in the SDK anyway (we just use it to be able to update in between Cinema's service packs).</p>
<p dir="auto">And while I understand your rant, I can say, our decision makers are aware of this as well. It's just sometimes there may be reasons not obvious in public. While this doesn't explain or justify the lack of docs in the past, it definitely does for the present. All I can ask for is patience.</p>

<p dir="auto">Hi Andreas,</p>
<p dir="auto">well, that's at least a starting point! Didn't know about this git.</p>
<p dir="auto"><em>*rant insert*</em><br />
From a business point of view, a comprehensive documentation with good examples should be top priority. I know you are aware of this - but your decision makers are not. They should imagine for a second how much more developed the C4D ecosystem could be - and thus how many more licenses could be sold <img src="http://developers.maxon.net/forum/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=0b8ddba251d" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":)" alt="🙂" /><br />
<em>*rant end*</em><br />

<p dir="auto">Thanks a lot &amp; best regards!<br />

<p dir="auto">Hi Paul,</p>
<p dir="auto">unfortunately, all we have currently are the <a href="https://github.com/PluginCafe/cinema4d_cpp_sdk/tree/master/source/videopost" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">videopost examples</a> in cinema4dsdk, especially those named vpsomething. We are aware of the lack of documentation and can only apologize.<br />
This going to change in future, I just can't say when, yet.</p>
